Dr. Christopher O. Thompson

Dr. Thompson is on staff at TriStar StoneCrest Hospital where he personally admits his patients and oversees their care. Today, while many physicians use hospitalists, Dr. Thompson believes that patients benefit from the special relationship he has with them.
“Many of my patients have been with me for 20-30 years. I have intimate knowledge of their family, genetics, history, medications and both simple and complex medical conditions. This is important when overseeing a patient’s hospital care. Everyone needs a good quarterback to triage with specialists and act as an advocate. That’s why I continue to serve as the doctor of record when my patients are hospitalized.”
